Beginning January 3, Pastor Rob will embark through a year-long walk through the Old Testament each Sunday morning. "The Year of the Old Testament" is designed to give you an overview of this collection of books, from Genesis to Malachi, and to give us insight into God's plan before the birth of Christ. Pastor Rob is very excited about this study! Make it a goal to be here as many Sundays as you can throughout 2010. A daily reading guide is available at the Growing kiosk that will help you read through the Old Testament in 2010. The daily reading guide will also be published in each week's worship guide.
Scripture Reading Plan

The PrimeTime group (Ages 55+) of Green Valley Baptist Church would like to invite you to participate in a special trip to St. George, Utah. The trip will be Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16. We will leave the church parking lot at 8:30 AM on a motor coach and head to the Outlet Mall in St. George we will eat lunch and have some time for shopping. We'll head to the hotel in the mid-afternoon for some time to unpack and rest. That evening we'll get back on the bus for a buffet dinner and then head to Tuacahn Theater to watch Disney's Tarzan under the stars. We'll have breakfast at the hotel on Saturday morning and then head back to Henderson. The total cost is $99 if paid before July 31, and $129 if paid after July 31.
